Art at the Kings
The Kings Arms has launched the first of a continuing series of art exhibitions by living local artists. This will be a part of our programme to create a multicultural hub of interest based around good food, drink and accommodation at The Kings.
We will exhibit throughout the restaurant, pub, music studio and hotel, art which we feel is appropriate to the ambiance of the premises in this beautiful part of Wales.
Our first exhibition, running during April and May 2008, features work by Artytexture - a group of artists who have formed into a group with similar based material ideas. They all use textiles to create images, largely drawn from the landscape and nature in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Chris Moreton
The Abergavenny Acoustic Club will host five times Edale Bluegrass Festival guitar champion Chris Moreton later this year, with supporting acts Steve Theaker and Rob Woodley. The date and further details will be posted here soon.

Food Festival 2008
The Abergavenny Food Festival will take place over the weekend of 20th / 21st September.
A programme for all tastes is being prepared at the Kings and details will be on our website soon.

Play at the Kings
Andy Sheppard, who has emerged as one of Britain's foremost tenor and soprano saxophonists, is a confirmed booking for 19th October and a must for all jazz fans.
