Food & Drink
Meat has the hunting season, fish spawn at different times and you have never found a ripe strawberry in December. That is why our menu is constantly changing, to ensure you will only have the best that nature can offer.
We have worked together to develop our food, ideas and make our restaurant into a first class establishment. In selecting our food sources, we protect and develop Welsh and British culinary traditions, often with fresh local ingredients, while being influenced and inspired by kitchen from all parts of the world.
Our kitchen is open everyday, for both lunch and dinner. Whether selecting from the restaurant menu or enjoying a bar snack, you will be spoilt for choice. The historical atmosphere naturally adds to the dining experience.
We also have a children's menu, that reflects the quality of our main menus.
If you are about on a Sunday, then our Sunday lunch is an experience not to be missed.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and this is something we take very seriously. At the Kings Arms, breakfast is a delicious affair, where a generous seasonal buffet of assorted mueslis, fresh fruits and compotes, yoghurts, cheeses and fresh patisseries, including Bara Brith and Welsh cakes is on offer. Alternatively a full Welsh breakfast or smoked Salmon and scrambled egg are also available.
At the Kings Arms, in proudly protecting and keeping with Welsh culture, we celebrate all Welsh holidays, with time-honoured menus, beautiful decorations and traditional activities.
We will gladly assist you in selecting the perfect bottle of wine from our distinguished, well-stocked wine cellar. Our cellar is ever changing and carefully selected to go with our varied menus. The wine collection is small but contains bottles from all over the world. Although the selection might seem small, we take our wines very seriously indeed, and train every member of staff to the highest standard.
If you would prefer beer, you will not be disappointed. We stock a wide range of lager and beers, bottled and on tap. With guest ales changing every week. With our own micro brewery, we can also offer some fine tradditional real ales.
Nuts, Seeds & Other Allergens
We only use organic and free range ingredients when we develop our dishes. Diners concerned about the presence of nuts, seeds or other allergens in our food are invited to discuss their dietary requirements with our waiting staff.
We have used the following key to help you make your choice from our menu: (V) Vegetarian, (N) Contains nuts
